Pilates in English in Downtown Budapest: A Guide for Expats and Visitors
iSPilates Studio2 min read
Moving to Budapest, or just visiting for a few weeks, does not mean putting your movement routine on hold. If you are looking for Pilates in English in the city centre, here is a practical guide to what to expect at iSPilates Studio.
Where to find us
iSPilates Studio is at Paulay Ede utca 9, 1061 Budapest, in the heart of the city. You can see the location and our Google reviews (5.0 average from 35 reviews) on Google Maps.
Which class should you choose?
We offer Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates and Yoga, plus Private and Duo sessions for more personal attention.
Reformer Pilates uses a spring-resistance machine that can both support and challenge your movement, so the load can be adjusted to your level. Mat Pilates relies on your own body weight and gravity, which makes it a very direct way to build control and stability. Neither is better than the other: they use different tools for the same goal, better quality of movement. If you are unsure where to start, talk to your instructor before the class.
Language
Our instructors teach in English and Hungarian, so you can ask questions, get corrections and adjust exercises to your level in the language you are most comfortable with. Our website and booking page are also available in English.
